As a follow up to the layer-by-layer encapsulation during the BioHortiTech project.
I will be collaborating with the PhD candidate from SPC, to develop the second generation of layer-by-layer encapsulation. This will be part of the WP2 which focuses on reducing the use of mineral fertilizers and synthetic pesticides through optimized biostimulant formulations and peat-free substrates.

During the first year of my Post-Doctoral research, I participated on the BioHortiTech project, where I was developing layer-by-layer encapsulation of Trichoderma spores for plant protection. The encapsulated spores were tested in greenhouse and field through collaborations with inhort, Poland.

The research developed throughout this project, has currently generated two papers, which can be found under publications.
